I make things out of metal.
Mostly, I want to make things that do things. Boxes that open, moving parts, and pieces that convert from function to another, fascinate me. Metalwork is alchemical—it involves physics, chemistry, geometry, and a little magic.

I’m learning to enjoy other forms of sculpture in other media—creating the four cast pieces below gave me the chance to work in wax, which was new to me. I like it and want to do more.
